I'm new at this and after reading "posting pictures for dummies" I thought I would give it a try. Here are a few pictures of an elk I got on little mountian this year. I got it on opening day at about 10:00am. I was hoping for something bigger, but after me and my brother spotted a herd, right on top of the mountain, we decided we should shoot at least one of the elk. They were next to a little two track road, and there aren't too many places were you can shoot a bull elk and load it whole in the truck. There were two six pont bulls in this herd and we ended up taking the larger of the two bulls.

Nice bull.Loading it whole is a dream.Driving to it is heaven. Good job. See any nice deer while on your short and successful hunt?

seen lots of nice deer. Not a lot that I would call Monsters, but there were a lot of 140-160 class bucks. I actually spent 3-4 days scouting in september, and my brother also hunted elk in that area till the end of october. so I spent a lot of time on the mountain. I was dissapointed that I didn't see to many "big bucks". I was also surprised that we only seen about 3 elk that were bigger than mine. The quantity of animals was unreal but the quality is lacking. On the last day I was up there with my brother, we actually seen over 200 elk in one area but none of them looked like they would score over 300. By the way mine scores 283

I wasn't going to say anything about the shadow profile...but since is has been brought up...that too made me crack up! Looks like something out of night-rider!

I didn't pay much attention to the profile but you guys are right, I do kind of have a george washington look. The problem is that I dont have as much hair on top as george and its longer in the back. Its like a mullet with not much left on top.

LMAO!! With that American Flag sticker in the back window I thought that was a shadow of Uncle Ted Nuget. Long live the Beast! :) Congrats on a great bull.
