Manti Late

I've got a budy with a late manti tag and he's having a hard time finding any good bulls. Just wondering if anybody has any suggestions.

I don't know how far off the road he gets, but hes been from scofield to the north end of skyline and in the low country between thistle and Manti.

Ferron mt.down lower. Horn mt.above Joes Valley.

They are all in the bottom of the valley. I have been filming two nice bulls right above mt pleasant for the last week or so.

during the rifle hunt we watched three nice bulls in the head of fish creek and there is always a few good bull off of bear ridge but he has to be willing to get off the road to get a bull up there.

Thanks JLTD, I know he has been hunting fish creek and lake fork, but I really don't know how far of the road he is getting. I know exactly what you are saying though. the road hunting days are long gone. you have to be willing to do a little work to kill a good bull.

I think this weather has ever thing screwed up. You'd think that bad weather would have been a bigger problem and made a tougher hunt, but it sure has the animals in different locations than normal..

I would have to agree antlerrick. we went to a canyon that i counted 23 bulls in last year on the late hunt and didn't see anything at all.
