A real good friend of mine (Steve Alderman) with Lowland Mulies was out yesterday hunting with a 13 year old kid (Justin) and his dad (Joe). Steve and Jusin both had tags and were looking over some killer bucks. Steve had been on this buck for over 2 years with hours of video of it. It was with an Awesome 4 point buck (190 Class).

Opening morning 2 other guys had slipped in and took the 4 point that the kid was going to take and busted this buck into another drainage. After only 1 hours time they had found this awesome buck again and Justin was able to Knock it down for a Buck of a Lifetime !!!

This buck is 30" wide 213 Gross Shot Oct 5th at 9:30AM. It has 7 points on one side and 10 points on the other. Truely a Great buck !!!!

Congrats to Justin and Steve. Gotta respect a guy who takes a young hunter out and puts him on a great deer like that under any circumstance. Buck of a life time!

Awesome buck and Justin looks happy. Love those Lowland Muley videos. They are some of my favorites. Congrats. fatrooster.

That is cool! Downside now is Justin is going to be ticked
anytime he shoots an "average" muley like most of us. :) That is awesome he got that experience. Congrats to everyone involved.

Steve said he was going to let me keep it for my site but I figured you guys like seeing some Deer porn too ;)

I know 4 guys (And I'm far from the top of the list, Hell, I think I'm close to the bottom 1/4 of it :)) that I consider guys that know how to hunt, know bucks, and spend the time doing it. Steve is one of those guys. Deer King (Jeff) is one other that you might know. There are guys that say this and that about the lad but he has done alot for the average Joe like myself and others. He's a good guy in my book........

It's good to see a great hunter in a good spotlight instead of the bad Roumor mill and Trash talking that comes along alot when someone does well. Glad you guys liked the pictures.

I actually agree with the post above about were does a kid go from there ?!?! I'm still waiting for my 21.3" buck let alone a 213" one :) :)

Kudos Justin, Joe and Steve !!!!!

(PS, On a Side note, that was the only Big Buck in Idaho. Any out of staters that are looking for a Nice buck should hunt Montana, Wyoming, or Utah. Rumor has it Colorado has Awesome bucks too.... I've personally looked and know for a Fact there are no other ones. You're welcome for the Heads up !!!! )

Congrats to the young kid on a heckuva buck. He might spend the rest of his life trying to top that one. Beauty!

What a feeling it would be to nail a buck like that, so young. GREAT JOB!!!!! :)

Wow, thanks Mooseeeee! Congrats to Steve and Justin! Cant WAIT for Steve's next vid.

I will try my hand at ID deer this weekend, but not in a unit like that!!!!

That's a heckuva buck. Congrats to all involved. If Idaho would ever send me a license, I'd be glad to come and chase your deer. Is there a trick to getting drawn? Like using a #2 pencil on the application? (Works every time in Wyoming.)

I'd love to hunt that kind of country. Great buck and I look forward to seeing it in a video.

ICMdeer, there is a Trick to Getting a tag. It's called buying one. Idaho is left with THOUSANDS of over the counter tags every year. As of this morning there was 6020 Deer tags available over the counter. We have not sold out tags in YEARS. Actually residents can buy tags at non resident prices.

On the DRAW hunts, there is no chance of out of state hunters drawing so don't bother putting in :)

On the Public land deal, don't think there isn't any bucks unless you draw. There were many a toads hitting the ground in the last few days for those that went out and worked hard at it. We jsut don't have that wussy country the rest of the states have so most people stay in camp, drink beer and B|tch about too many hunters on the road, the eather is to hot or too warm, or the wolves. :) :)

Ridgetop, I made up for this tame post in another post. I don't want to loose my edge ya know. I like to keep some of the "MOOSIE SHOW" on the home front. If you read more at my place then the Adult joke section you'd see it *Snicker*.

HornSeeker, good luck this weekend bud, with as many dam Tags as you have in your pocket you should come out with something !!!! Just watch the Idaho/Montana line I know Idaho Fish and game are :)

Take care to all and have a good season... Moosie's out !!!!

Super buck! I've hunted this unit before and I'll be the first to say bucks like this aren't behind every rock or up every other canyon. Great job.
