Cow Hunt

How many of you are going to hunt cows on the Fishlake Saturday?

Taking my practice arrows and planning on getting at least 10 of them!!!

They issued 200 tags for this hunt.

If the weather doesn't change, it will be a tough hunt. Been looking for the last month for my wife a cow and only seen 3 cows, right at dark one night, right on the very top above Fishlake. We have covered the whole unit and ZIP-ZERO-NOTTA..

Tough hunting conditions as the elk haven't been pushed down into their normal pre-winter areas!

There is a whole bunch of cows down in the valley below fish lake. Some brown cows and a few black cows as well. I'm going to take the closest one to the fence so I don't have drive my truck as far to get it out.

My brother seen a herd up gooseberry but that is it. They have vanished

Been up there a bunch. There is a lot of elk sign but they are almost completely nocturnal- laying up in the black timber all day. This area has been hunted hard and continuously for a long time. Need to drive them out.
