my daughter stopped by yesterday and asked 'what was i doing tomorrow?'...i responded, "duh" (i have a limited vocabulary)...so, she asked if she could 'tag along'? of course, i said 'sure thing, just remember to dress warm'...we got up early, and she said it was raining pretty hard out, and "are we still going?"...i responded "duh" (a very limited vocabulary)...we went.

got there in the dark, parked the 4-wheeler as best we could under a tree, and started our hike...

we found about 30+ bulls, but they were all spread out, and most of them already 'knew' where we were...

sorry about the pic quality...was very wet..

G, You guys look as wet as I was yesterday hunting blacktails in Western Wa! At least you saw horns. Nice to see family enjoying the outdoors.

Rain? Whats that?

As always great photo's. Western Colorado could use precip of any kind.

Nice pics, I take it Elk hunting is over around there---SEND SOME OF THAT WET STUFF TO WYOMING!!

That is some great "bonding"! Notice you didn't have a chainsaw tied on to the wheeler - ask TripleK why she always checks to make sure our dad doesn't have a chainsaw in his truck when he offers to take her on a "bonding" trip involving elk!

Now Roy that sounds like a good story.
My dad use to say that wood will warm you twice, once cutting it and the last time burning.

Looks like great fun!
Thats funny! I asked my 9 yr old if he wanted to go look for deer yesterday, and although he didnt say it, his expression had DUH! written all over it!
GOOD ON YA LITTLEFOOT!

There are a lot of UTARDS that live here.
I have also seen quite a few WYOMORONS, NEVADUHNS, COLORADORKS, ID-IOTS and AIRHEADZONANS in my travels.

Awesome LF! I bet she had a blast out there with you!
