little dell reservoir rifle deer ?

I am thinking of going rifle deer hunting for deer around little dell reservoir up parleys canyon. Im not looking for a trophy just some meat. I am wondering if it is mostly public land around there? Im not looking for secret spots either and how the success has been there for the people who have hunted there? Is it a spot worth trying for some freezer meat? and are there many deer in this area? Well thanks for any posts it will help.

Mostly public land, get ready for a war on the opener. Get on a ridge before first light and let everyone push the deer around, you may get a shot at a small buck this way.

ZOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Public land, lots of road hunters, a few that actually hike, wear orange from head to toe and God help you if you and a deer are anywhere near one another and someone else sees the deer......

You might fare better in Iraq.

Never been up parleys on opening day rifle.... but isn't it archery unit only??? or is rifle hunting allowed on the north side of parleys... Guess I ought to re-read a proclamation.
