New Mexico unit 2 late cow hunt

Anyone finding anything scouting. My Dad and I have looked quite a few places and haven't even found much sign. Any ideas? My little sister and I have tags.

There ain't no elk in largo, never seen one hunted there my whole life, goto caracas or by the jic line.

elkslayer54 , don't say there are no elk in Largo Canyon. My big brother services the pump jacks there and Thanksgiving Morning he had to work as 12 of his stations needed the compressors restarted. I spoke to him at around 1 pm just as he got home and said Largo was filling up with elk again. He hunts unit 2 solely for for cow elk , he just isn't interested in bulls but has killed many an elk and Largo Canyon is one of the places , 2006 cow killed there.It's one of the units much of my family hunts as its nice having my brother there year round to help with locating animals.Carracas Mesa is good too , but the most hunters will be up there. Mestenas is another great area for late elk hunts as many of the elk are down lower off of the Mesa.
