I was lucky enough to draw three tags this year. One in WY, one in NM, and a Coues whitetail in AZ (Dec!). I finished the WY hunt last week, and have the NM hunt in 2 weeks.

Got him with my .270 and my old "sweetheart" load using Nosler solid base boattails. I didn't measure him, maybe you guys could guess what he scores. He's at the taxid., so I'll have to wait a year to score him for real.

Are you hunting 2B in New Mexico? Just wondering, becuase I drew that unit and will be out there in 2 weeks as well.

hey cool, good luck! We hunted the Carson last year, big mistake!looks like they have had a little snow North of 2b. Do you know whats the latest on the San Juan mountains? Any snow there??

I haven't heard anything. I have a buddy who lives in Farmington, and he's checking things out. I've heard mixed things on the Carson. Sounds like lots of people go there. I think we're gonna steer clear.
