They are from Utah, either out by the Toole Army Depot or on the Kennecott Mine property.

The big wide typical is from the Tooele Army Depot. The other big bucks by all the buildings, etc are from the Alliant Tech (ATK) property in West Valley. That I know for sure cause Ive watched those bucks personally.

I only posted them here for hunters to enjoy- SO ENJOY THEM ALREADY.

I agree with Tuffbucker, the real wide one is from Tooele, and the one with extra's is from west valley. I know, and I have footage to back it up. They consistantly hold big bucks in that area, because the only thing that can hunt them are the cougars..
It's pretty interesting to see the difference hunting can make. Just across the road, where you CAN draw out, the bucks aren't nearly as big. There are nice bucks, just not like you see in Alliant Tech....

Well I guess the guy in Arizona who didn't take those pictures and hasn't seen those bucks on the hoof knows more than you guys who have watched them.

Goes to show you how big your bucks can get when they don't get shot as 2 year olds.

Sooo, I guess Waite's friend didn't take these pics. Or, he's been holding out on Waite and posted them all over the net for every hunter to see for the last couple of years before he finally shared them with Waite.

Those pics of the non-typical Alliant Tech buck were posted on this site a few years back. I sent them to Brian (Founder) and he had some older photos of the same buck someone had turned up. A friends brother worked out there and took the photos I have. Will try to post 1 more nice one of the same buck later that year.

Pics look bogus to me. Anyone notice the right antler on the wide 4X4 in the first pic? Check out the tank behind the antler. I'd say there have been a few adjustments to the spread.

Either way and age of the pics aside, those are some real studs. It just shows what is possible with age and genetics. Most of us just lack the patience to let them get that big.

You can see the stretch marks between the antlers and on the tank.

The last pic was in our local newspaper the other day. The blurb with it said the pictures had been floating around e-mail land - and had been taken by an employee at the INEEL.

That said they don't call it the 'mistakesman'for nothing.

jshutah is right! I have a copy of the original that has been floating around. That picture has certainly been doctored. Too bad we can't clear up the location of these bruisers. Old or new photos. I think people just like controversy.

That is possibly the worst job I've ever seen at trying to doctor a photo.

Just since I have nothing better to do. This person obviously has little experience trying to fake a photo. The areas I circled are clear evidence that he used a "clone" type function on a photoshop type program.

Honestly, like another poster said. Anybody body with half a clue on photoshop could produce a better picture.

Thanks anyways for posting the pictures. Those are some beautiful deer!

I will drive you right to them. Then, you can decide if they are worth the arrest for tresspassing onto military contractor property.

You might pull off the trashy buck. That one could be had. You can stake him out and watch the security patterns. During break time would work also. ;-) I watched some MZ guys do it years ago. Hell, they didn't even get caught. I don't multi-task. I wasn't being paid to guard the place.

Isn't Utah great. To view big bucks you have to have the company photographer take the pics and distribute them to the public. Then, we sit around and oooh and aaaah. These bucks have never seen a rifle, hunter, or orange vest. Maybe the orange vest when asphalt work is being done. This is what you can grow if you don't have 97,000 meat buck guys killing them when their umbilical cord hasn't even healed yet.
