Hi Elk,
Well as you know it is finally done. It was alot of fun scouting with you this Summer and Fall. I wish that you could have been there when it all came together. He goes 225" he is 33" wide and he lost a point on each side from last year but is still a 10x9. This is the first year out of the last five that he didn't grow the extra eye guard on his left side. Vance and myself couldn't get him on the bike, he was heavy. talk to ya later.

Hey Old Tracks, big time congrats to you and your hunting buddies! I know a lot of time and effort went into taking this bruiser and you deserve every bit of what you got. I can't wait to see a picture of him from last year, his last years sheds, then this years hunting picutres! Where you able to get any footage/pictures of him this year before you harvested him? Which magazine or video should we be waiting for???? Come on tell us please, please!

Way to go guys!!! I can't imagine how rewarding it must be to finally have the big boy in the freezer!!!

I didn't get any video of him this year. We though that we were going to get some and then we lost him. It would have been tough because it was so thick and vertical where he summered. Wyatt Bowles has some of him.
We put the footage and sheds of the past on our new video series. It is called "On Track Videos big game collection vol.1. It is going to be a great tape with alot of great footage. really like it and I am glad to be back editing and filming after a brief time out. I will write something up for Trophy hunter. I don't know if you heard or not but the next day my brother in law took a 8x8 that is 29" wide and scores a huge 211" Both of these bucks really didn't live very far from home....cool huh!
