Any ideas for a reputable Gila drop camp?....16D, 16A, 16B.... I'm feeling lucky this year after several "non-draw" years.....My plan has always been that we'd head out into the wilderness and pack'em out when we get one down....and going deep has been our game for the past 5 years in CO...with lots of success, but very sore quads!
....but after this year in CO (my 1st year out of 6 with landowner access), I really would like some notion of help when we get a bull down...in 07' we had 4-wheeler access and it sure made the trip out of there nice!
Is there anyone local in western NM that would be willing to pack us in and check on us on day 3 and day 6 by horse?....and pack out meat?
We pack very light....65-70lbs each for 5 days....it'll be three of us if we draw. My research will likely land us pretty close to the right area....I hope!
