My cousin got this buck this weekend in Colorado. I didn't have a tag so I was helping him. Fortunately I got to be a part of the whole hunt. We didn't expect to see him on opening morning though!

Great looking deer. Looks like northern colorado. Was he interested in any does? His neck looks like he is starting to rut! I ask because I have a 4th rifle tag in the middle park area. Thanks for sharing. Jeff

Nice buck, and thnaks for sharing. I'm glad you have your daughter in the picture. That's the best deal.

I got him in the Buena Vista area, which is in central Colo. He was with a doe and a fawn and he was definately rutting, his neck was really swollen. My hunt only lasted 2 hrs and I saw a total of 3 deer, him being the third I saw. One shot with my 308 and down he went. Thanks for all the replies.

Thats a real nice buck! How does your little girl do around the animals? I have an 18 month old but my wife wouldn't let her in the gargage to see the deer, elk, and bear I shot this year. Maybe next year.

He's a beauty, that Buena Vista area has some great mulies and beautiful scenery!

Looks like your daughter is hinting you should have let him grow another year....Just kidin....way to go! Nice buck!

Thanks hunt4, I do know where Buena Vista is, sorry some of the background looks like some areas west of Fort Collins. Great buck! My girls love to see the animals (dead or alive).
