Hey, just got back from Huntin colorado. Me, my dad, and uncle all got some great bucks. I got a 28 in. 4x4, this is only my second deer too, its gonna be hard to top a 28 in 4x4. My dad got a 29 and a 1/2 in. 4x4, and my uncle got a 31 in. 5x4. It was a great hunt, my dad and uncle hunted saturday,sunday, monday, and walked there butts off. My uncle got his 31 incher on Sunday. I had to wait to come over(high school football playoffs) So me and my grandpa left monday night at 8:00 and got to my dads camp at 2:00 tuesday morning. So then we all walked our butts off tuesday and wednesday. Me and my dad got our bucks tuesday morning at around 10:00. Then we tried to get my grandpa a buck, on wednesday, we jumped a big one, but he was out there along ways, and my grandpa got 2 shots, and he missed. We left wednesday afternoon and when we got home that night we weighed them and they all weighed over 220lbs. field dressed. They had some really big bodies. On the days i was over there we seen probally 50-70 does a day. And we all passed up at least 2 22-27 in. 4 points and 3 points. I am from southern utah and i seen more does in one day in colorado than i seen during the whole utah muzzleloader and rifle hunt.
