Best Elk Magazine?

I'm looking for the best elk hunting magazine available. I would like to get some info on each state's herd numbers, draw possibilities, public lands, the works!

You won't find that type of info in a magazine. The Huntin Fool magazine will give you draw stats, but you'll need to contact each state or surf their websites to find herd numbers. Then you'll have to contact the Fed's about land ownership status.

Are there any elk magazines besides the RMEF? They sure don't have anything on the shelves in Louisiana. There are a thousand deer hunting mags, but where's the elk?

EASTMANS HUNTING JOURNAL.That magazine has most of the info you mentioned. You have to subscribe to get that part of the magazine,they call it the members research info.
It also is a good mag. to read, they have a website
