my daughter has put in for the late elk hunt in the bonanza area. i was just wondering what to expect if she does draw. you guys in the vernal area should have some info.do you guys think the DWR is trying to lower elk #'s because of the bison being introduced this year? what is the overall herd size in this area?what what type of bull is a shooter?common sense tells me the first year of this hunt should be the best.how many years do you think this hunt will be an option?
