Here are a couple of the bucks I was telling you about when I went hunting up in the Valley this last Sunday with my camera. I was having camera problems, but I managed a few shots. Again, the biggest got away without getting him on film. I was trying for that one good full frame photo. I named this boy slick. He was a nice four, but no eyeguards. There was a small two messing with him. I figured that two had a death wish.

This guy was a bruiser. I was thinking he had a weak eyeguard, and a weak back, but his eyeguard looks fine in the pic. Sorry they didn't turn out better. My camera really torques me off. I could have taken rolls of pictures of this guy, but thought I had some good ones, so just enjoyed him.

I went with D&D horse outfitters two weeks ago on a 4 hour ride on there property seen a couple bucks then asked my 5year and going girlfriend to marry me up on top when we were overlooking twisp, there goes my hunting trips, ya right she tryed to pull off an october weeding talked her out of that for June 18. I Love the Methow valley

Thanks for the pics, brings back many fond memories of my late tag last year, it sure was a great hunt.

Of course last Sunday I had the horrid realization that it had been exactly one year since I missed the biggest buck I've ever seen in the wild, a 180+ buck for sure with the longest G-4's I've ever seen on a mule deer alive or dead (including all magazines). Man I wish I could relive that shot.

Great pics, thanks for sharing some of the good ones of the Methow.

Bone,

Awesome shots as usuall. I had that tag in 2000, and it is in my opinion one of the best if not thee best permit unit. I still daydream about all the bucks I saw on that hunt!

Is photobucket down again, or did I just exceed my megapixels for the month. I see that all my pictures are now the big x and they won't let me log on????

Still nothing. Is anyone else having problems??? I am beginning to wonder if work didn't put something in to exclude that site. Thats really mean to do to the nightshift guy.

I'm heading up the Entiat to help my brother-in-law this weekend with his late buck rifle tag. Will post if we get a good one. Wish us luck!

I'm not sure what Photobuckets deal is. I think sometimes they just get too busy and some photos get shutdown. From what I can see on their homepage it is unlimited free hosting, so I think if there are problems, they must just be technical?

Any other sites that offer free hosting like that?

Those are a couple seet bucks Doug. This year I am going to work the winter range and try and get some good ones too. Gonna run and get one of my dads sleds.

I would love to be down in 45 right now. That must also be sweet winter range. I had two things going on with photobucket. One thing was I used more megabytes then allowed for a month. That disabled my hyperlinks, so that no one could see the photo anymore. I got a warning from them that I was close. Then for some reason, the hospital I work out down south put up a surfer control, and won't let anything to do with photobucket to come through. When I am down there, I can't see mine or anyone elses photos.
