Anyone have any ideas why Utah's draw will take until April 30? Since we only could apply online they should be ready by now.

Mainly because they won't have their "winter/spring population information" that they base the number of tags that they allocate for each unit on until the end of March or first part of April.

funny how they need the money while the senate is in session on capitol hill yet they have us pick before we even know what is available

I wouldn't complain. If you were applying in CO or some of the other States you would have to give them the price of the tag in addition to the fee while you wait to see if you get drawn. CO does this even if you are applying for points.

I have never been able to figure out why it takes Utah close to 90 days to put out draw results. Arizona and Nevada generally get their results out in less than 50. I wish they would atleast publish results by the first of April. Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico applications are generally due the first week in April. It would sure be nice to know if you drew Arizona or Utah before applying in other states.

As already stated it has nothing to do with the amount of time it takes to do the draw it is delayed so they can do the heard counts and issue permit numbers, why they dont just wait and have you put in after they have that is a good question!
