Great bull for sure! Even more impressive when you see Mrs ktc and her little petite self. Little gals putting down huge critters.

I didn't see any cats around my booth. I heard from Prism that the elusive bobcat was in the building but he didn't stop by my booth.

Hey thanks guys! I guess we are kind of proud?;-)

The great part was seeing her bull with so many other great animals. Utah put out some great animals in 07 for sure. rick's wife's bull, packout's moose, the Hogan bucks together, Superman, the Beaver buck, the Strasburg ram, antlerless's bull, and many, many more. Really spectacular when you stick them all together. Paul Pennie put together one hell of a display.

Then Prism, AWLB, Moss, MDF, SFW, and many, many more vendors had great booths for the latest and greatest stuff. Alan Jacson was super also. I am not much of a concert guy, but it was very enjoyable.

Now for the 14th. I need one more crack at the Pile of Lava Rock for old time's sake.;-)

I couldn't find the MM booth either. I'm assuming it wasn't there as it wasn't even on the map.
I ran into a lot of good people I knew but wanted to meet a bunch of others. You may have seen me in the back of the wheel chair train going around the show. Since I was in a cast, and not man enough to do crutches for hours, I bummed a wheelchair and hooked on in tow to the back of my wife's power chair. Got a lot of funny looks and some funny comments, and a few sneers from some guys, but that was the only way I was going to get to see the show!

Here is one of the Mossback display showing Lucky lifesized (2007 archery bull, new state record and pending #2 in the world), the 2006 state record Skoronski bull, the cheater bull, and some other monster bulls on down the line.
Somehow didn't get a photo of Darrell Snedegar's new state record non-typ bull.. Couldn't get him to stand by it or even give me his autograph!!! haha... Anyway, some monster animals there. Visited with the dad of the young man who killed the awesome 300" buck in Colorado and he was quite proud of his son's buck, and who wouldn't be...
Congrats to all the hunters, and good luck to everyone on your expo draws!

I spoke to the young man who killed the 200+ buck in the Book Cliffs last year and had his buck on a pedestal with his dad's 06 sportsman tag buck. What a cool story that is.

I know the father and son personally and they are super great people! Remember that both those bucks were non-guided and the son's buck was actually shot from a wheelchair. Now that's just damn cool.

Mrs ktc's bull was a dandy and 'Packout' big bull moose was so very impressive....'Founders' big ole muley was a sure show stopper...the definition in his buck mount was way nice...

Man-many other great animals harvested and mounted too.

KTC, I was looking at your wifes bull when your wifes sister came up and saw it for the first time, lets just say she was prety happy for her sister. lol she had to point out to me that it was her sis that killed it.

I saw Founder and Browtine as they were leaveing the Skybox friday night, but I was to star stuck to say hi...LOL

I was not aware her sister would have been up there? Did she give a name? Paul brought her bull home yesterday. It is nice to have him back!;-)

Hopefully her mountain goat is in the show next year. She is in the bonus pool now. Hopefully she draws and we can find her a big billie. It was a lot of fun having an animal up there among all of the great critters. Lots of cool stories and lots of nice folks up there with animals. I was in awe at the mule deer.

Good luck in your draws also. I have to live vicariously through my wife since she has points! Ha! She is in the max point pool of 13 points for goats and 7 people with this amount applied last year in her unit that has 2 bonus tags. Maybe with a little bit of luck we can chase white goats? My daughter has 0 points. Think she can pull the Dutton early?;-)

Jake, I hate to admit it but it was my sister in law that you were talking to. I was sitting there when I heard her tell you that it was her sisters bull and she shot it. My wife was the one she was talking about and her bull was two away from ktc's bull. We were the ones in the wheelchairs!!!
I think you were just looking at the wrong elk when she grabbed you....kind of funny though!
I seen the post and wondered what the deal was...figured I'd wait until Ty said anything about his wife's sister????
Oh well.... that clears up the mystery, huh?
