Anybody hunt that late bow season down there? Buddy of mine killed a 28" buck there a couple of years ago but i have never hunted it.

Funny how nobody responds to a forum unless there is a picture to look at. Are these guys hunting pictures or animals? I live in the area and have hunted that unit. It can be good, if the snow isn't too crunchy for stalking.which it usually is by then. You may just find an escape route and sit since there is usually enough pressure to move the deer. I would like to see information shared that may help a fellow hunter, rather than just a bunch of high fives for a hunt that is over. Try the Jim Sage range.
Good Luck,

Geeze idahobow, pretty judgmental arent you? But with your 6 posts I'm sure youve given out all kinds of good advice around here. Lighten up a little man, maybe not that many folks here have hunted the area 55 late bow or cant pass along good info. Or maybe they dont want to share a honey hole. Its pretty easy for EVERYBODY to comment on a picture of a deer, especially since we all hang out here together and like to celebrate one anothers success.

Information gets shared here readily when other members can share it, but if I were you I wouldnt expect much to be shared your direction with an attitude like that.

I didn't realize they had a late bow hunt there, I may have to try that one next year. Me and a couple friends are headed for unit 63 for the late bow hunt on whiteys next weekend. I got my muley buck with a rifle, but have the extra tag for a whitey so we're going to try it out again. Didn't have much luck last year. We have to try a different area this time cause in the place we hunted last year some idiots hunting in there this year with shotguns shot a couple cows so our access to the area is shut off.
