I have been watching this bull off and on since christmas eve and was finally able to get a couple pictures of him. He has quite a croud following him everywhere he goes and is kind of a favorite among the locals because of his sweet split swords.

He is a great bull! I've seen him a few times myself, it's gonna be a mad dash when those puppies hit the ground!

LOL. I can just see the those antlers hit the ground and the race start. That poor bull is gonna think he is being attacked. Snow doesn't look too deep there, he looks pretty good.

neverstop do you have any pics of the six with the big fronts? He is a good looking bull as well. To bad most of these bull will be dropping on private property. Will that stop anybody? NO

This one isn't going to shed this year, or ever again. He just got "tagged" by a minivan on Ironton Hill. Hope the driver is ok. The van was trashed.

Sad end to a great looking bull. Seams like a lot of people know of this bull. Did he hang out by the road?

DADDYO , Do you have pictures of the dead bull, I to have been watching this bull and Ironton Hill was not where I was watching him. I didnt think he would move that far,I hope they are two different bulls because that is a great bull. If it is the same bull that SUCKS!

Here's a pic of the horns. Looks like the same bull....

I drove by not long after he got hit. The van was totaled, not sure how everyone inside ended up.

The horns (at least earlier today) were at the DWR office in Springville.

Story I got from a DWR contact was the bull was pushed onto the road by a photographer. Now that is 3rd hand info, but from a down to earth source. We are loving these animals to death.

I saw him dead on the side of the road this morning at 6:45 am. He was not there late last night. So I doubt a photographer pushed him onto the road, but you never know.

Yep looks like the same bull, thanks for the pic. Anyone got a guess on a score.

Its the same bull unfortunately. I really enjoyed watching this bull this winter. I heard that it was actually utah highway patrol that pushed him into to road. Supposedly trying to get him back up the mountain. We went over to see him and i was able to rough score it. We came up with a rough score of 371. He had 21" second tines

If I didn't know better, the dwr just wanted the horns for them selves and for CRAZY KARL for all the good work he has done to stop poaching on Traverse Mountain.

He was hit Wednesday night between 7:00 and 7:30. I was driving north over Ironton hill and saw lots of police and sheriffs parked on both sides of the road. He was laying dead on the east side of the road. I heard that he was on the west side of the road with one other elk (a cow). Story I heard was that some people had pulled over to see them and take pictures. The elk spooked and ran across the busy road. I heard that both elk were hit and killed. No matter what happened it is sad to see such I great bull hit and killed.
