A few bulls east of Boise. I didn't take the photo, just had it emailed to me and thought I would share.

LAST EDITED ON Feb-23-08 AT 08:07AM (MST)[p]This exact same herd was from Missoula last week. They must be migrating.

Great pic in both states though!

I said I didn't take the photo, I didn't say I didn't know where it was taken. The photo was taken near Mayfield just east of Boise. The elk have been pilled in there this winter because of the high amount of snow. Come on, look at the barren landscape. Does that look like Montana to you?? Its not hard to recognize the I-84 corridor.

I am amazed that I missed MuleyCrazed's post however. I am not one for repeating posts. As a matter of fact it really irritates me cause I check the posts fairly often. Anyway, I am not going to argue with the guy who says his buddy took the pic in MT but the are in the photo looks EXACTLY like where the photo is claimed to be taken so whatever, nice elk, sorry for the re-post.

That is one cool looking picture. I really like how all the bulls are in the front and the rest of the herd is behind them. Makes for a great picture.

They did a great job with the photo shop job on that photo to get all the bulls in front of the herd like that.

Bloodtracker, there are a lot of questions surrounding this photo but you are the only one claiming (on both posts) that it is photoshopped. Seriously, does the photo looked fixed???? I don't think so, its a bunch of elk on a winter range, the bulls tend to hang away from the cows, BFD. The photo is legit, just no one knows where it was taken. I hope your BLood TraCKing skills are better than your photo analysis skills.
