Its sad, now anytime I see a picture of a garage I am looking for a bong. LMAO

Great deer, congrats,

I actually forgot all about the "bong" thread...just fell of my chair laughing...

by the way, I'd assume all of us CO residents would know how to correctly tag an animal...

Gentlemen start your engines.......... That always attracts some hard core rednecks. OK heres the lowdown. I've been hunting in the same Colo. area for around 9 years. Never have we seen the bucks like we did 3rd season this year. I had to wait it out 6 days due to hunting pressure and during this time my compadres seen 2 bigger than this bully. Now mind you that this is the biggest buck I have and may ever shoot. I have a lot of respect for some of you out there that would have passed on this one. My buddy Randy who was about 150 yards in front of me didn't see this guy come around the top of the ridge in front of us. It was on the north side of the mtn so it was very shaded. I immediately dropped to my stomach and squashed the Swarovksi's, can you say cha cha ching$$$$$$. He was coming down hill and wouldn't turn broadside for me. After about 25 seconds in the hairs, I had to take him. My buddy finally saw him and raised his gun. I couldn't wait and gambled on the neck shot ........ boom, front flipped and was down. Check out the entry at the neck. God Bless The Ruger M77 Mark II's .270 caliber. This guy was at least 310 to 320 lbs. What would he score? 28.5 inches wide.
Thanks for your time..............Curtzilla34

In the first picture, is that a freaking ghost in the background? Nun the less, Great buck.
Kevin

No bongs (In the pic at least) but look back to the left of me and the buck and you will see the Kegerator that gets me throught the tough times.

Classic

Hey Curt, I told you someone would comment on that friggin' skeleton on the wall...LMAO

Nice neck shot, nice buck, nice pics! Congratulations to both of you. I know I wouldn't have passed him up either.

Congrats!

A bad day hunting is better than a Good Day at Work!!

Coupla' nice nice bucks. Curt...with a neck like that freak, you couldn't miss.:) Congrats to you and your partner.

Nice buck! Check out the neck in those field photos!
Nice shot as well. You should be very proud of both those bucks. Now that is a good day hunting!

Curt,
What a hog man. Congrats and great job! Its nice to pull a good buck out of a place that hasn't normally held em. I did the same this year. Plus I took a neck shot too.. funny how it yanks rug from beneath them. Your buck is awesome, be happy and very proud. Congrats again

That really is a duck call....isn't it? LOL

At 6'5" and 285 I see how you got him out whole. That is one huge buck!

Is it a 3x3? I couldn't even guess at the score, but who cares?

Steve

Sorry, that is a goose flute call. No crack pipes, no bongs. Very observant though. Now you have me looking at pictures a whole different way. LOL

Congrats on a nice buck and for being able to get him out in one piece. What a hog!

Bagger

Curt's a buddy of mine so I feel ok saying this...I think those guys use a pick-up with a winch and 1000 yds. of rope so there's no dragging...LOL

Yeah, he is only a 3x3. I count him as a 4x4 with his eye guards,
Isn' that how you do it? He has 3 large antlers on each side and his eye guards are both about 2". I've always thought of that as 4 points on each side, total of 8. A buddy of mine said possibly between 160 and 180 for a score. I don't care. I dusted him and he will be above my fireplace.

Curt
