Wow! Can't wait to hunt the strip some day. That is one wide buck. I really like the rears too with the cheaters. Congrats to the hunter.

Congrats on your deer. Also,that second photo is a great shot of the deer and the hills in the background. I don't think eastman could have done any better.

Chambero, the strip is the country along the northern AZ/UT border from Nevada over to Lake Powell. Or thereabouts.

The Arizona Strip or "The Strip" referes to the vast strip of land that lies between the Colorado River (Grand Canyon included) and the Utah border. It's a friggin' huge amout of the most Awesome and remote land....probably the most remote land in the whole Western States. Low deer densities, bitchin arrow head hunting, Antelope,Cattle, miles and miles of dirt roads. Hope like heck to draw a tag before I'm 90.

Thanks for educating me. Never have hunted Arizona, but had always heard about the Kaibab Plateau or hunting on the north rim (outside of the park of course).
