I am not sure what bobcat thinks, but I was pleased to see this % of increase. Not too much, not too few. Seems like a good increase in my eyes. I think this increase will not hurt quality and give more hunters a chance.

Now I wonder if I might have a chance at a tag. I applied for Monroe non-resident archery with 8 points. I wonder?!?!

8 points should start getting you there with a bow? Not sure exact odds but you are getting close to a great Utah elk hunt. Increases like the one proposed will enhance opportunity, yet keep the quality.

Good luck! If/when you draw it will be a hunt to remember forever!

Was just trying to get him going. He's one of the reasons that makes this site fun! Maybe they'll kick out a few more tags in the Manti, and I'll get lucky.

My chances of drawing Wasatch will improve but at the same time I'm not sure I want to compete with 200 other hunters.

Why do you think the DWR is wanting to cut tags on the early rifle hunt on the Pahvant and add them to the late rifle hunt? Just curious I didn't notice them doing that anywhere else.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-10-08 AT 02:03PM (MST)[p]Non Resident archery Monroe Elk tag did not increase so the odds wont change. The resident Archery Tags were increased by 6. Thats if the tag increase is excepted.
