Colorado GMU 214 Elk

Anyone hunted GMU 214 public land for elk?Looking for info on the unit.

Very little public land available in this unit basiclly only two spots on public land and one in tough to get to if the roads are wet. Recent land exchange removed a spot also.

I have bowhunted this area for years. I've have missed a couple and have had buddies connect with small bulls and a few cows over the years. I've moved on to other areas with my bow.

There usually are some people, but not too bad. I back-country hunted in the Zirkels and have seen some large bulls out of bow range.
