MY FRIENDS NORTHERN UTAH 28"

My friend got this on the northern rifle hunt on the opener. It is 28 inches wide . He has it a the taxi right now , and never got a chance to score it . I was thinking somewhere from 175-185 gross . What do you guys think he will score ?

Nice looking buck, the pic almost has the "old time" quality to it. Its hard to see all the bucks attributes but I'd say he looks to be right in that 170" mark.

Geeze cameron, I thought "nice looking buck" was a congrats? Maybe you could post an address where we could send cards or a bottle of wine? I still stick to 170ish.

Dakotakid I wasnt meaning you that post meant alot . Thanks for the congrats . I was just saying it because I posted it this morning , And you were the first to respond this night . When most people get 50 responses in a hour . Maybe people are just a jeolous of this fine ass animal it sure is a taker in my book. Well it sure is a nice northern utah buck .Dakotakid you get anything this year?

That is a great buck. This is one of the few years I wish I could of traded my archery tag for a rifle. Congrats to your friend. I would say around 175!?

huntercameron, let me start off by saying congrats to the hunter, for harvesting a beautiful animal. Also congrats to yourself for the nice buck that you harvested as well. I agree with the others that buck is just a sliver smaller than you were guessing I'd say 165-175, but as mentioned a great looking buck.
Don't get all broken hearted about the lack of response, or shall I say slow responses. One reason might be because that picture has all ready been posted once, so alot of guys have all ready seen it. So just relax a little and continue to enjoy the site, I think over the last few weeks no one has enjoyed it more than you so keep it up. Congrats again on your buck, it sounds like you have really caught the bug. Did you ever get your buck scored?

It never was posted . Maybe because I said a high score , and no one wanted me to get mad by saying a lower score . It was just a guess . But my buck went 146 2/8 gross 139 6/8 net . As a typical one of his mainbeams was weak which made it worse . One of his eyeguards curled down also. All in all a great trophy to me . Thanks for the congrats on my buck borntohunt.

Its a great buck but I would guess that its not going to score real good due to the forks being a bit weak. I would guess 160-165. still a great buck and congrats.
