The s*it has hit the fan here in AZ. Cabela's T.A.G. program delivered anywhere from 600 to thousands* of elk/lope applications late for the drawing (mostly NR apps).
The T.A.G. program is a service Cabela's offers to do all the dirty work (draw statistical analysis, applying for the applicant, and delivery of the app*) for a fee. Cabela's delivered (or UPS) the apps hours after the cutoff.
The AZDGF has granted Cabela's a hearing the discuss the options. Whether AZDGF lets allows the apps or not, people aren't going to be happy with either party.
BTW, there is a thread on the General Discussion forum about the Cabela's lawsuit.

yes to my dismay i found out about this at 11:30 last night (see my post on the gen hunting forum)it wasn't my "box" keeping me from finding out it was az gnf trying to "fly under the radar" so no one would find out.az g&f sould gotten so many e-mails on this that it should have jammed their e-mail.my guess is they will bend to the almighty $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
