AZ draw results, for real!!

Took me 15 minutes the first time and 20 the second time.

Nothing for my dad or me this year!
 
I am getting a busy signal every time I try to call.
I will get fired today if I keep trying to call from work.
Ktc,hey I will give you my ID# and pay you to sit there all day and call for me.HA HA
Do they only have one phone line?Go Figure.
Good luck to the guys who have drawn hope you did not take my permit.
 
Took a while to get through and they say at first that the results are not available, but then they ask for your ID and provide the draw results. Got the antelope point I applied for and another elk point that I did not apply for. No AZ tags this year. Colorado, here I come.

i got 4-a archery bull and 10 archery antelope only the second time i put in for antelope and 2 years in a row the same hunt for elk my lucky year! hope everyone else has good luck

Just checked on line and for the heck of it I selected the Spring Draw Results button. Guess what, The Fall Draw results came up!! They confirmed the phone info that I did not draw, but the results are now on line, sort of.

They are also online. Use Spring results link and look right above BP infor. Looks like I am going into 2009 with 13 elk points.

Not drawn for Antelope or Elk...

Well...now I guess I know what to apply for in Montana...Moose and Sheep.
 
Online I get a "Not Drawn", and does not show my bonus points. Is "Not Drawn" same as unsuccessful, or does it mean they have not got the results posted yet. I am afraid I know, but need to ask.
 
Didn't get drawn for elk again. Maybe next year. I guess my hopes are on deer now. Hope everyone else had better leuck than me.
 
Not going antelope hunting this year..............

But I will have to warm up the bow as I will be heading for archery 4A Bull!!!!

On-Line results are now working. Go in under the spring draw results and it will take you to the elk/antelope draw results. No tags for me this year. Good luck to everyone who drew a tag and to the rest of you still waiting for draw results!

Hell yeah, on top of my archery bull tag, my wife got a rifle bull tag in 10. I love it.

Congrats on a great tag. I have seen some nice bulls in 5A over the years. Lots of roads, but lots of rugged areas for them to hide in too.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-26-08 AT 03:45PM (MST)[p]Our group drew 3 archery bull tags in 4A. It will be my son's first archery bull hunt. It will be a blast hunting rutting bulls with him. Struck out on the lopes but that is no surprise.
 
My computer has been trying to open the website for about 15 minutes now. Apparently everyone in the west is on the site. What's the phone number?
 
Nothing this year 12 points for elk now, within the next 3 years I feel a archery elk tag coming my way.Well maybe..HA

Neither my son or I drew anything. Me next year, 11 elk points and 16 antelope points. Son next year, 13 antelope points and 6 elk points.

This is OK since I'm going to draw a strip deer tag (yes, I have max points) this year, and THAT is the tag I really want. As Robb says...YA GOTTA BELIEVE!
 
9 and 11 bonus points and I got nothing. I want a landowner tag in Colo or NM. Late season. DIY. Hard hunt/backpack. High up is good. Bad weather and rough terrain welcome. The more remote the better. I don't want to even see another human being.

no draw for me. now i have a question, now i have 4 points , next year will be my 5th year in a row. will i get my loyalty point for next years draw when i apply in 09 or wiil i get it in 2010
 
I have a problem...seriously.

I put in for points. My antelope point shows as bonus point purchased. My elk status says "not drawn" and my point total did not go up. Any ideas?
 
I'm and AZ res and they will not update the points for another month or so. They need to hire someone who knows IT better than what they have. The net locked up from all the activity today and that should not happen. CO does not lock up on their draw release days and everyone knows when its coming.

Anyway, not to frett over the points shown right now. They will eventually update them and you will get your elk and antelope points added to your total.

Good question on the "Loyalty" point. After this draw I will have 4 lope points. I would suspect that after I apply for the point next year, 2009, that the loyalty point will show for the 2010 drawing.

Good luck to all who drew a tag, even non-residents. My hat is off to you non res for sticking with this FUBR system.

A couple comments in response to MDBrown and SteveOz. First, you won't get your loyalty point until AFTER you've applied for five consecutive years. Second, I checked my and about six or seven friends results, and they all said for antelope either bonus point purchased or not drawn. All the elk apps said not drawn, whether they applied for a tag or bonus point.

If you look at your bonus points, it says the totals are as of January 15th or some date like that. They'll update them soon.
 
Dito for me. Points only, and it reads just like Oz says above, it will eventually be totaled into the points.

Loyalty comes after applying for 5 years.
 
So someone in the know answer this....does AZ have any restrictions on muzzleloaders? ie bullets, scope, primers? Only thing I could find in a quick scan of the regs was "must be loaded from the muzzle, single shot, single barrel..."

no restrictions on scope, primers, inline, sabots that I am aware of. Must use black powder or synthetic black powder, not smokeless as one muzzy can shoot.

well I'm happy to announce the formal drought has ended for me and the little woman. We're going Bull Elk hunting with our bows in 5B!! Congrats to all you guys that drew tags,I hope you all have a great hunt! To all of you that didn't draw Please dear shows you that you can draw a tag here w/o max points. Just keep putting in for the non primo units while you accumulate bonus points and you just might draw a tag in the process if not you'll have a better chance at that 9 tag later on!

Red Rabbitt, I shake my head truly in awe! Congrats Doug on two great tags and I hope you have two of your best hunts ever and get a couple of real wall hangers!

WE drew 5BS and I've got issues at home! My wife is already talkin smack! I'll be dreaming every night until the hunt and then the dream becomes reality and like you know there's nothing like it! I didn't get drawn, but my dad, my uncle, my dad's friend all got drawn for the early rifle bull hunt in unit 10!!! 25 permits and we landed 3 of them!
 
22 north Nov 28- Dec 4th It was my 2nd choice so I get to keep my 5 points, Now that nice.
 
Nope, you don't get to keep your points. No matter what choice you draw in AZ you lose your points. Sorry.

I am sure they are in Chandler/Gilbert since last year. Kathy came down after graduation and Kelly stayed 2 more months for work then he was coming in june or July. Since the 2 phone numbers and an email had changed during the move I lost touch and the jerk (lol) hasnt called me (my phone number and email have been the same).
I'll bet you'll start scouting as soon as you move down?!
