A Couple Bucks (pics)

Here is a couple original pictures that a buddy of mine took. He lives in Kalispell, MT. The bucks are on some kind of "reservation" where no hunting is allowed. I haven't been able to talk to him lately to verify the particulars or the exact location.

Sorry about the quality. A friend took digital photos of the prints. It's the wrong time of year to post "velvet" I know, but I couldn't wait! Once again Brian thanks for your help.

That bottom buck looks like a buck I once seen in Muley Crazy Mag. I think it was in the still roaming the hills section....said it was one of those "what if" bucks...what if the one side matched the other or something along those lines...buck was 37" wide with a weak side....but this buck doesnt look too weak on either side! Great Bucks and thanks for sharin the pics!

Yeah Younghunter, that is DEFINITELY NOT the buck with the weak side! I do remember that one, he was from over in the breaks somewhere if I remember right....??

Those are some fine bucks, I may have to poke around the res with a cam in the next few weeks! Its a big reservation though.

My friend is off on a Whitetail hunt somewhere. If memory serves me correctly, the pics were taken near Flathead lake. I think on an island which is part of the Indian Reservation. He works part time for Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks or what ever it is called in Montana, so maybe he had special access I don't know.

Hope this helps for now. Right now would be a good time to do some video taping alright!
