This should go under another heading, but I am NR with that applied for Panguitch Lake LE Archery(w/2 pts), just got my email....successful! I am from Nebraska so I would/could really use some help here. I will likely have to hire an outfitter...any suggestions? I have lurked on this site for years and obviously rarely post. Thanks to any or all that can help! Or shoot me a email @ [email protected]. Thanks again!!

McClean Mecham is the outfitter I would call if I needed one. There are some guys here who know his number.

Those are my guesses. I am not an archer nor have I hunted Panguitch Lake. I have hunted Dutton and I do know that some smoker bulls have crossed to Panguitch. Probably vice versa as well.
Congrats! Should be a great hunt for you. Maybe someone could give you McClean's phone number and outfitter business name. I think he guides on PL. fstop here knows him. I think he is a great guide. Of course, there is always Moss who does very well.
BTW; Utah has some GREAT units, I think PL is one of them. You really do not have a second rate tag to any Utah unit in my opinion.

Congrats on the tag!!! If you can't scout, and can afford an outfitter, I would call Mossback. You can expect the biggest bulls that unit has to offer if you do.

I always felt PL was a sleeper so to speak. Great bulls without the hype of Pahvant and others. You have a great tag. browtine is giving you some good info if you can swing it financially. They will find the best bulls and get you into them.
Go down a couple of posts to 07 Bull Mount (or something like that) if you want to get amped up and see some possibilities. They do not get much better than antlerless's bull. That thing is sweet!

I already talked to a couple of outfitters that were suggested. So it's goin to be a pretty sleepless night as I still can't believe how lucky I was to draw.
Both outfitters I talked with live in the unit and said a 350 bull is a very realistic goal, even for bow...WOW. I probably won't sleep for a couple of nights! Thanks everyone for your input, keep it coming.
