Son drew a Utah Youth ANY BULL tag!

Not very many 11yr olds get the chance to go after a bull their first year in the field. I honestly can't remember being more excited about any hunt of my own. I think it is everyone elk hunters dream to pass on that "elk in your blood" passion on to your sons or daughters. If any one out there has had any experience with this tag please pass along your advice. I want to hear it all, the good and the bad. Thanks.

Thanks to some very kind and generous support from PleaseDear, my son got to enjoy this same hunt in 2005. Robb gave us some very good advice and we had a nice hunt. It's now my responsibility to offer the same help to you, so feel free to PM me and I'll give you a recap of what we learned.

My son drew the new late season youth any bull tag in Uintah County. If anybody has any input on that hunt he and I would be gratefull.

My son drew that tag 2 years ago and it was a hunt of a lifetime. We hunted in the Vernal area and shot a nice 7x6 with the help of an outfitter. He was very reasonable and new the area well. If you want his information e-mail me and I will forward it to you.
