You will have a fantastic hunt, I drew the Mt. Dutton Muzzy Elk this year also. Let me know how you do, my hunt starts on the 24th of September.

I have heard that you need to be in good shape. I am already starting on that. Its gonna be nice to chase something bigger than a SPIKE!! I drew a random tag also, so I got it done alot sooner than most. The next couple of months are gonna crawl by! How many scouting trips you think I should make? I was planning on at least 4. I will let you know what I see and hopefully point you in the right direction for your muzzleloader hunt.

I have been on the Dutton alot, I haven't had a tag but I have been with people who have had and there are some dandy bulls on this Unit. Depending where you live I would make as many trips to Dutton as you can over the next 3 months.
