My Year

Fellow hunters,

The year 2004 was to be my year. I won't be able to hunt for the next few years but that wasn't a concern a few months ago when I was devoting all my time to finding that monster. Anyways things didn't work out and I never did see a big enough buck to chamber a bullet.

After my days of mourning, I started to wonder if there were any more hunts available. I'm a resident of Idaho and I haven't been able to find any hunts for mule deer (my passion) but as I said, this is my last season for quite some time and I'd like to have one last shot at a great buck. If anyone knows of any reasonably priced buck hunts, guided, semi-guided, or do-it-yourself please post or pm me.

I would appreciate any comments or advise..

Nebraska muzzle loader hunt till dec 31 It is an over the counter hunt I'm from wisconsin nad have made the trip several times and had various levels of success PM me if you want to consider something like this. I would be available about Dec26 to hunt and I do have two muzzle loaders.

AZ has late archery hunts that start mid-december and run till end of january. you will have to buy a new license/tag after the end of the year but you can buy them over the counter. Hunt unit 10 by Williams.

Idaho, what about archery? Don't you have more seasons open for that?

heh, my handle is a bit ironic .. or maybe some of you would say otherwise =P

I'm not sure exactly where I'll be going I'll know in a few months. Hunting will be here when I get back, I'm not worried but I will miss it, indeed.
