SAN JUAN LATE HUNT HELP

Ive been a long time fan of MM, have never posted anything though until now. I drew a late hunt on the San Juan Elk Ridge, and Im wondering if anyone has and info on it.

Has anyone hunted it before? How did you do?

Ive heard that if it snows hard Im SOL?


Any kind of info or tips or pics would be great.

I have hunted the late hunt before. It depends alot on the weather.
We have a San Juan Muzzle loader tag this year and after that hunt I could help you out with a lot of info. If you are planning any scouting trips let me know, I will be down there bear hunting for about 3-4 weeks.

Do what a lot of other people suggest on this site when you draw the San Juan and contact Black Timber Outfitters. Unless you're not looking for a guided hunt. Blacktimberoutfitters.net I believe is the correct web site.

Hey Knock24---Are you sure you don't post much on here...something about your username rings familiar to me.

You'll have a blast on that late hunt, I would hold out for a 350" bull, as there are plenty of those there. Let me know if you want any help scouting the area as I'll be available all fall since I didn't draw a dang thing this year--not even a general season deer tag.
