I am interested in talking to hunters who hunted this unit
the past few years. Drew the Muzzy tag, I have spent lots of time on the unit in the past hunting deer, I would like to get a feel for the type of bulls being shot off the unit and what to expect. I know this is not a "trophy unit" Just looking for a fun hunt. Please pm me or let me know if you've hunted the unit.

I have hunted diamond three times and killed three six point bulls off the unit. dont shoot anything under a 300 class bull but also dont expect to see bulls over 330. fun hunt lots of elk but you have to scout hard and get maps. plan on hiking in too areas that hold good bulls. Dont hunt the rim.

I see around 12 or 15 bulls that come off this area every year, and their are some nice ones and some dinks. If I were you I would put the time into scouting alot and then hunt hard, if you do this you should be able to get a 320 bull, and may even get lucky and find one of the 350's that are up their. As said above though dont even consider shooting anything under 300,their are too many bulls better than that.
