Wasatch Limited Entry Rifle Tag 2008

Looking for some info on the wasatch , i have a limimted entry rifle tag.

What class bull is reasonable for this unit.

Well bull, I've spent a hell of alot ot time on there for over 30 years, In fact alot of time the last month(9 days) watching them grow, My wife has a rifle tag also. I can tell you the antler growth is looking realy so far and there are 2 out of the 30+ bulls I'm seeing that will make the upper class. Now to your queston,IMHO, This year will be no different,a hand full of the upper class, Two hands full of 345 to 365 bulls and a whole SH** pile of 310 to 344s wil be taken. With some hard work and some luck you should get into the hand fulls and not the piles. good luck with your hunt.

LAST EDITED ON Jun-23-08 AT 05:46PM (MST)[p]Bullmania i have spent many hours filming bulls on the Wasatch and im sure you will have a great hunt.Here are a few video stills of some bulls from last year.I dont think the big bull was killed last year so he might still be around.I havent been up to film yet but i will head up soon but i also got a limited entry tag for another unit so i wont be filming up there as much this year.There are some monster bulls on the Wasatch but a 340 type bull on the rifle hunt should be a realistic goal.

Answered ya Bull and so far the info has been right on this is whats called a sleeper unit its a little easier to draw with a chance at a real monster, but the average bull is less then other trophy units such as the pahvant san juan dutton and a couple other pisscutter units that i can think of if ya want a real trophy check out the anthro just ask bessie its stud heaven lol ;-)
