Please score my buck

I never bothered to score this buck because of the poor tine length. He's in the process of being mounted so I do not have the ability to score him until the mount is finished. I'm getting bored now that the season is over and was wondering what you guys think he would rough score. For reference, his bases are 8" thick.

I'll start the bidding at 164 gross, 152 net. The scores on these massive, short-tined bucks really point out the shortcoming with B&C scores - I think mass inches ought to count 2-3 times, and throw out spread; why "score" air?

Thanks for the pics - he's a dandy.

Where do you get your Bushlan camo? I can't find it in Utah.
Nice deer congrats!

Let's start a score system using weight.4x8 inch square hole for scull plate. If it fit's in the hole then weigh the rack.Heaviest bones win.Case in point the BUCK OF JUSTICE low score, extream mass.I think 10 lbs per side. Most elk sheds I've picked up are 10 lbs or less a 330 bull averages about 8 lbs per side.

I bought these the first year that Buslan came out and ordered directly from Bushlan. One year I actually found the light top at Walmart. They have a website that you can order their products online....http://www.bushlancamo.com/

BTW, I keep hearing about the "Justice Buck", do you know any links that show it? I've never seen it before.

There was an artical in Hunting Illistrated awhile back.check their web site archives. He's also in the mag seven print KINCS WORLD.

I would guess 160 gross 150 net.
BUt I would rather have that buck than a 170inch typical with decent tine length.

Thats one buck that shouldn't be scored. WHo cares! What a freakin' pig of a buck and an outstanding trophy. Nice Job and forget about the score.

MASS IS EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LAST EDITED ON Jan-04-05 AT 06:34AM (MST)[p]Great looking buck, love the mass! As far as the score, I don't think he'll break 150". It doesn't look like he has very long main beams, and the forks are on the short side, he'll make up some on the mass, but I still don't think he'll break 150. But what do I know. If you go to Boone and Crocket website, there's a link that will show you how to measure your buck. You just punch in the numbers and it totals it for you. I did my buck, I scored it at 173 1/8, when I had it officially scored it came in at 171 6/8, so I wasn't that far off. Give it a try.

I was kind of thinking that he would not break the 150 mark too. That is why I was curious what you guys would think. Thanks for the tip about the B&C website, I'll check it out once I have a chance to see my buck.
