Well, I am heading to the Books to do some scouting for my upcoming ML elk hunt. Any suggestions on where to concentrate my scouting?

Take some skeeter dope! Right now with this heat the elk should be higher - I wouldn't look any lower than PR Springs.

Last year while on a mz deer hunt we seen some good bulls just north of the trailhead for the roadless area a guy camped next to us with an elk tag shot a pretty bull that scored about 370 pm me if ya need any more info
