LAST EDITED ON Jan-03-05 AT 03:02PM (MST)[p]I know these are not a huge bucks but since things are slow I decided to start a score guess post.
Just want to see what some of you think.

#1 165

#2 169

Where these picked up as sheds or harvested, just wondering where the real score is going to come from?

High 160's on the both of em. #2 might score better due to the tine length. Look at the depth on those back forks. Both look very symetrical.

I'm going to say 174 for buck #1 and 168 for buck #2. I might be a little low on both.

I would give Jerry a 198 for taking the photos.:)

Thanks for keeping things interesting on the site, Jerry. I'd be right in with the rest of the guesses. Number 1 is low 170's and #2 is about 10 points less.

Well most of you guessed around what I thought as well. I do not know the actual scores but wanted to see what everyone else thought.
Buck #1 I would guess at close to 170. Too bad most of his tine length is short. Good main beams though. He is already in his prime and will not get much better. Age is close to seven years from knowing of this deer.

Buck #2 I would guess close to 170 as well and is a younger deer.
His short main beams hurt him but his mass is very good. Here is a side view to show you what I mean. Just goes to show a narrow buck can get big in time. Definitely will be interesting to see what he turns into in a year or two.
Thanks for playing.
Best,
Jerry
