New mexico Unit 13 or 15

Looking at some land owner tags on these units ,has anyone hunted either unit ????

What caliber of Bulls are coming off of these units ???

Both units are big bull country.Unit 15 is better in my mind for public land hunts but if your going to go on a private ranch, then I have to say ,6 of one and half a dozen of the other....

I am also looking for LO tag for wither of these units.

I believe you're more likely to find ranch only tags on unit 13, than for 15. Most of the tags I've seen for unit 15 are unit wide, not so for most of 13. There are some giant bulls in both units. I've killed more elk in unit 15, only one out of unit 13, but he's the biggest bull I've ever shot and likely to remain the biggest as well. I killed him on a ranch only tag.
