How many of you use blinds? I am thinking about purchasing a Double Bull blind for this years archery hunt but not quite sure if it's worth the headache or if I'd be better of buying myself a comfortable tree stand. Last year I used existing (man-made) stands and was spotted everytime for some reason even though I didn't move an inch. There is the Ultimate Viper SS tree stand that I've been looking at with the camo drop blind on it which I would think would help break half of my bodys silhouette up and keep me from being spotted. In all my years past I have always been the spot-and-stalk hunter and/or hide in deep forage but as we all know during archery you generally have a lot of twigs around you if your in cover and taking the shot is a no-no if there is a chance your arrow richochets off some damn twig. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Blinds are great and the Double Bull is one of the better ones out there. They are expensive but they have 360 degree shooting lanes. The only bad thing about the Double Bull blinds are that they are very heavy. If you plan on hiking down into a hole you would be better off making a ground blind from existing folage. I have hunted turkeys out of a Double Bull and it was very handy but personally, I wouldn't haul one out elk or mule deer hunting.

It's always an adventure!!!
