deer rut

I am going on hunt the 8th thru the 16th. It is in eastern nm. What do you guys think the chance of the deer still rutting are. There are whitetails and muleys on this place. Thanks in advance.

I would imagine it would be a little post rut maybe a few chasing second estrous does. Takes about 30 days for second estrous. Guess it depends on how far south? Im not an expert though.

Here in unit 34 the rut is about over with. Its a bummer. Been out the last few days and there are a lot more does without bucks.
