WE'VE GOT A PROBLEM!!!

WE'VE GOT A WORLD FAMOUS BULL ELK IN AN LE UNIT BEING HERASSED BY A BUNCH OF JACK-ASS TARDS!!!

THE TIME IS NOW!!!

IT'S TIME YOU BOYS COWBOY-UP & MOVE THE BULL IN TO SAFE HIDING!!!

LETS SAY MOVE HIM IN TO AN OPEN BULL UNIT WHERE PISSCUTTIN FOOLS HAVE A CHANCE AT A DECENT BULL!!!

I KNOW A VERY GOOD PLACE IF YOU BOYS DON'T KNOW OF A GOOD ONE???

I KNOW A PLACE WHERE WE COULD USE SOME NON-PISSCUTTER TYPE GENETICS INTRODUCED!!!

YOU BOYS NEED TO ACT NOW & ASAP!!!

IF NOT THERE IS NO GOOD OUTCOME OF THE PRESENT SITUATION!!!

THIS IS MY NEW GUN,YOU MAY NOT LIKE IT,YOU'LL LIKE IT A HELL OF A LOT LESS WHEN IT HITS ITS DESTINATION!!!

In the past I would have agreed with you Bess. But heres the problem. What about guys like, um, I dont know, lets say, me. I've been putting in for my tag for nine years. Nine years. When I started putting in, gas was $1.10 a gallon, I was single, had all the time and money in the world. Now, I'm married, have three young kids, moneys tight, and it costs me sixty bucks to go scout for a couple of hours. I've been out every weekend since mid may looking for bulls and learning new areas. By the time the hunt even starts, I will have spent a good five hundred buck (that I don't really have) in fuel. I will have worked my but off for a bull that with any luck, will go 330-340. But yet, I fall into your classification as a tard, becouse I've been looking at bulls continuously for a month. I will never have a tag like this again, so I'm trying to make the most of it. But you still think a bull like that should go to a guy who doesn't do any scouthing, pays 50 bucks for his tag, then stumbles on to a bull like that on opening day. Something ain't right here.

good point.... but I feel bad that in the current situation that bull is going to go to the highest bidder. Sad..... once again it turns into a money thing instead of good old fashioned hard work.

HEY dgwoody!!!

NOT TRYING TO TAKE ANYTHING AWAY FROM YOU & CONGRATS ON PULLING A TAG!!!

BUT TRUTHFULLY TELL ME???

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR ODDS/CHANCES ARE OF TAKING THIS BULL???

Bobcat, I'm just asking!

Maybe that bull WAS on an open bull pisscutter unit, and the UDWR moved it to an LE unit, to keep a pisscutter shooter from getting it?

I mean you gotta have an LE permit to take a bull like that?

I'm just asking, not accusing!

Eel

My chances? Zero to none. I'm about 90% sure that bull isn't even within 300 miles of my unit. I aggree with you on the highest bidder deal though, and your probably right. However, I have always believed that people have a certain amount of control over what happens in their lives and the lives of people close to them. If you know where the bull is, and you know someone who's got the tag, help em out. Out number the mossy boys and all the others. Beat em at their own game. I can't wait for my hunt to start, just like tons of other guys in the state. We, the low life general hunters, out number the high dollar guys a thousand to one, yet every fall, we all read the storys of guys being pushed around. Strength in numbers, if you no one you know has a tag for an area, and you run in to average joe hunter who got lucky this year, help the dude out. Take his name and number and call him if you see something. I would be willing to bet that if you did, you'd have a life long buddy. Plus, everytime you help average joe hunter, your beating the other guys. Its an overwhelming feeling to draw a tag, your excited, but when you've been out scouting and havn't found the monster, the pressure builds. I'm lucky to have a lot of good friends that go to great leagnths to help me out, and the hunt is still six and a half weeks away. I can't say much about the guided hunters, because I am no different, I've got a bunch of family and friends pulling a lot of the weight for me. The main difference is, when I do connect, it won't be "my bull" it will be our bull.

MAYBE SO eel!!!

dgwoody!!!

I KNOW WHERE THE BULL IS!!!

WHILE EVERYBODY WAS SCREWING/FIGHTING/ARGUEING/ETC OVER THAT BIG SOB I'D BE ELSWHERE ENJOYING SOME QUALITY HUNTING & I'D LET THE REST OF THEM TARDS BE TARDS!!!

MARK MY WORD ON THIS dgwoody!!!

SOMETHING IS GONNA HAPPEN!!!

IT AIN'T GONNA BE GOOD EITHER!!!

LAST EDITED ON Jul-01-08 AT 10:30PM (MST)[p]Bess you are right! lets move him into downtown Altamont! The Pisscuttin'est place on the planet. I have a tranq gun for cattle and a 50cc bottle of Thorzine. I have the man to do it. Darner himself has agreed to tranq the bull and transport him to downtown Altamont. Oh what a Day, Oh what a day! Damn Bess good idea. Tell me when and I will be there!(p.s. Darner is not riding with me, you have to bring him):)!

I got an Idea... Logan just lost there bull they had at the zoo... lets replace him with this one???

I am betting that the bull gets run off, or pushed and then those that can afford ten spotters will be out looking for the bull in its hideout area, the bull will be pushed all over, no more rest for the bull, he is going to be hunted hard. I hope he will outsmart everyone. If I had a tag I know I would try my chances at him for a few days of the hunt, why not this is a huge bull.

This is exactly what I would do with a tag and this is exactly what I do with my hunters. It aint worth the fight. To me, getting on the mountain at 2:00 am and sitting there waiting for the sun to come up only to run as fast as I can down a ridge to shoot over 50 guys between me and the bull just doesn't sound like fun.

It's always an adventure!!!

Your probably right, bess. I just can't wrap my head around it. All I can do is hope an average joe kills him.

This Darner fella better bring a crowbar to pry all the outfitters out of the bulls arse...be hard enough to load a tranq'd elk, esp with outfitters attached

I think MTFWP should buy the bull(along with his genes) bring him to MT and dump him off deep into the Great Bear or Bob Marshall Wilderness, he will never be seen again, procreate very much, and die of old age in a snow-drift on a wind-blown ridge in his 10th or 11th winter.

Just a thought

Push him on to private property and let him live. Moss, don't give in to him, land owners. I would rather watch the bull than get paid to get him killed. The bull will leave the area and the moss plane will find him. What a joke!

I'm hoping that the bull didn't get that big by being dumb. Maybe he will play the game of now you see me, now you don't.

I would dare say, however, that most of us would love to see him killed if it were us doing the shooting. We can whine and complain all we want about this outfitter and that one, but given the chance we would all pull the trigger....

LAST EDITED ON Jul-03-08 AT 08:08AM (MST)[p]sad sit. may as well be a canned hunt?

Bessy im thinking we should hire rackmaster to go get spidermans baby juices then impregnate local cow pisscuttin mothers. Ya know since thats a hobby of his. :)

-Cody AKA BigBuck92

Aint that the truth?, the moss plane/helecopter will find him where ever he may go. I'm pulling for an under dog! I would rather a person earn that bull, not buy it. And earn I mean sprint, dodge bullets, a couple fist fights, some flat tires, who knows what could happen?

Next thing you know the UDOW will have a drawing for spectator seats up on the mountain. I knew I should have bought a PP. Dang it!

Bobcat,

I hope a female lion kills that big sum***** and lets her two kittens eat every last ounce of him...

And then gnaw on the horns. :) :)

I think that would be the funniest damn thing I'd ever seen. These guys up looking for this bull and they find it half eaten and buried by pine needles.

I'd laugh for a week straight. :)

Wait until about 2 days before the archery and the trailer will pull up and give a whistle and that bull will load up just like a horse. Almost like he's been "trained".

LMAO D-CUPSY!!!

I'VE SEEN THAT TIRE BEFORE!!!

Kinda looks like yet another ranch bull imported from Saskatchewan. Looks like some red stag genes popping up to me. Maybe better haul him back to the ranch during the hunts, or sell him to some guy who flies in the night before and doesn't know any better.
