Wyo 67/68 Bow Elk Help

Hey all,

I have a buddy who has some experience in this unit. I have not hunted it myself. I plan on starting second week of the month.

I will be over there for a scout trip late July.

I plan to take horses on the hunt.

Some pointers would be much appreciated.

I am bear familiar. I was refering more to the other brown critters.

If you have the equipment and horses, I would concentrate on the 67 side. East and West Dunior drainages can be very good. You probably won't see alot of hunters packed back in, a few around the trailhead.

Seriously, grizz run pretty thick here. I have had a couple close calls when I used to guide this area.

I do have stock and gear. Don't think I'll pack in, probably just ride in daily, unless there is a reason to stay in. I usually just take the saddle horses.

Not looking forward to coming back to camp and finding just halters hanging from the high line.
