Utah Limited Entry Muzzy Tag, Deep Creek

This year I drew a West Desert Deep Creek Muzzy Elk Tag. I have been out on the unit a couple of times and I am having a hard time finding any elk. The areas I have looked into and have been told hold a ton of elk are coming up empty. Does anyone know if the elk move into the unit later in the year? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

There are some elk around, but this
time of year the ones on public ground
stay way up high, and are tough to see,
but the majority of the elk hang out
on the res during the summer, when they
start hunting the res in july they will
start moving around.

Don't get discouraged, go down during the
first of sept you will see elk.
