Book Cliffs Little Creek Cow Elk Hunt

My brother drew out a cow elk tag in this area. I am a little familiar with the area. Any information on past hunting successes and/or general suggestions on which areas of the unit are more likely to hold elk would be helpful.

The hunt will be a piece of cake. The biggest challenge will be finding a cow as close to the trailhead as possible. Go up from Thompson and hunt the upper drainages of Bogart, She, and Buck Canyons. I doubt you will have to look any further.

You can get within 5 or so miles of these areas. Hope you realized that this is a roadless area before you applied. Good luck.
