The Washington Chapter of the Foundation for North American Wild Sheep (WAFNAWS) is excited to announce a tag to hunt the famed Tiburon Island for Desert Bighorn Sheep. Rams from Tiburon Island have dominated the ram awards at FNAWS since hunting began in 2000. The tag will be auctioned at the WAFNAWS banquet "Seattle Sportsmens Convention" on February 5th, 2005. See the WAFNAWS website at www.wafnaws.com for ticket information. Phone bidders are encouraged.
In addition to this fantastic tag, we will also have the following tags:

1. Washington State Governor's Mountain goat tag
2. Washington State Governor's Eastside elk tag (last year's tag holder took a 402+ SCI Bull)
3. Washington State Governor's Eastside deer tag (Sept. 1- Dec. 31 season)

E-mail me ([email protected]) for a more detailed auction list which includes great hunts from the northwest to Mexico to Africa and everywhere between.

Thanks,

Glen

I think Manny is right about it going for more than 10K. You have my premision to go to 12K if you have to. Thanks Glen......

Do they auction off any hunts for washington or Montana. Dose it cost around a $100 to get in. What night are all the auctions.

They are $60 bucks a head including the dinner. They are serving roastbeef with lobster and shrimp or Game hen with lobster and shrimp. The lady selling the tickets didn't know which night the auctions were going to take place but I bet the big ones are going to be on the last night. I bought my tickets quite a while but I haven't received them or a schedule yet.

I wish I had some extra cash burning a hole in my pocket, that would be a pretty cool deer tag to have. I doubt it will bring the 134K that Arizona brought, but if you get away from your truck you could probably scrounge up a pretty good buck that time of year in this little ole state.

NUNYA,

I sure hope that wasn't your real credit card number. If so, you might want to start preparing for all the charges you will be getting on it. Especially those big ones that will be coming from Cabelas!!

I'm sure so dumb ass has already tried to order those 7x36 tasco's he has been looking at in the dirt cheap catalog.
Ha,ha jokes on him I already maxed it out on Jim Beam and college girls.

Hey Ramslam,
I ordered my tickets about 6 weeks ago and I still haven't received them. You seem like you know what is going on down there so I will ask you. What day is the deer and elk tags going to be auctioned? Does anyone have there tickets yet?
Thanks,
Shane

Shane,

I will check on the tickets for you. You should have a packet at the door when you register that will have your bidder number, etc so I am not sure if you should be expecting anything in the mail.

Send me an e-mail at [email protected] and I will e-mail you the auction list.

I believe the state elk and goat tags go Friday night while the deer, Tok Dall, Tiburon and Sonora desert package all go Saturday night.
