AZ Super Raffle ELK

Word on the street is the AZ Super Raffle Bull was taken by a guy guided with Mullins Outfitters. Preliminary scoring puts him in the 425-430 typical range. Anyone got any pics or know anything else?

The hunter was the raffle tag winner from last year. The tag was good for 365 days ending July 31, 2008. The tags just drawn start on Aug. 15, 2008 and run to Aug 14, 2009. Word is the bull was 420+ in velvet.

I have a picture of the bull but Mullins will be posting pictures when they return home tomorow. The bull is a beautiful bull that has a 420 class 6 point frame with a small extra below his third! This is definately a once in a lifetime bull!

Also the bulls are pretty much done growing there might have been a few inches more but not likely.

rthrbhntng is right the tag only lasted til the 31st and the hunter was able to get here done with only a few days left!

Let's do Sep 15 to February 15th instead. I don't understand. Who in the aych needs all year to kill an elk anyway? July does not sound like elk "hunting" to me.

Its the real deal. I don't have permission to post the pic so I won't but I assume Mullins will very soon. As mentioned its a 6x with a 6- 8 inch kicker below the third on the right side. Looks to me like he was done growing. The antlers look pretty hard and there are no knobs on the ends. They say low 420's. I beleive it. What a bull. looks really cool in velvet. Congrats to the fortunate hunter !! C.C.

Great Job Clark, Awsome bull and I'm glad you milked that tag for all it was worth. You make all of us that bought a ticket think that someday that could be us.
