My Dad and I had a conversation this weekend about comparing a Mule Deer quality to Whitetail quality. We enjoy mule deer hunting because it is so different than our Whitetail hunting.

Would you say a 170 B&C Muley is comparable to a 150 Class whitetail in numbers per species or what do you think?

I have taken two good mulies, but never a big whitetail. What do you think a fair comparison B&C Score would be from one species to the other?

I feel that is a good comparison, a 170 class mulie to a 150 class white tail, I have hunted both species a bunch and I feel a 150 class white tail is the easiest to get.

With all due respect, I tend to focus on mule deer only. But a 150 class whitey is great. I shot one in high school bigger, but didn't know any different. Mule deer are unpredictable, you can't pattern them, and where they tend to live is worth going after them. mtmuley

I definately think that a 150 class whities is much esier to get than a 170+ muley. I have 1 180 muley and 6 140-170 whities. (all from Washington) Whities are soooooooooo much easier to pattern and trick. You can set up a treestand and have 100 whitie bucks to 1 mulie walk within bow range.
