I just got back from scouting and placing a trail cam or 2 for my elk hunt. It was a long Saturday. I did not see any elk except for the bull I almost hit on highway 6.
Anyhow, I hiked down to my secret spot, which is not secret any more. It is over on the North End of Skyline Drive. I found a trai cam aready there. It had fallen off of the mount and landed in the water. It was full of mud and water and corosion. So, if any of you out there put a trail cam by a water hole, I put it under the tree. It does not work. BUT, I put mine just across from you on the trail.
Let me know if you're out there. I plan on going out there next Sat. Aug 2nd to see what is in the area. I will either leave it or I can bring it back and meet you some where. It was a Wildextreme 2 with a 1 mb disk. I will share any pics that I get. I am curious though, do you have a tag also, which hunt? I hunted this water 3 years ago with good results.
